To reset the Texecom Veritas 8 alarm without the code, you must obtain a 4-digit Anti-Code. Follow these steps:

1. Enter any code to silence the alarm.
2. The zone lights will display a random 4-digit sequence by flashing each digit in turn.
3. Contact the phone number provided (on the last page of the manual) with the displayed sequence.
4. You will be given a 4-digit Anti-Code.
5. Enter the Anti-Code to reset the system.

You cannot reset the system without the Anti-Code if you do not have the original code.

the rkp will not accept change of code instructions

1 comments:

The Texecom Veritas 8 RKP may not accept change of code instructions for the following reasons:

1. Multiple RKPs may be set to the same address, which is not allowed.
2. RKPs may be incorrectly wired.
3. The RKP may have been connected after the control panel was powered up. In this case, all power must be disconnected and then reconnected to auto-configure the RKP.
4. Incorrect code may be used (ensure the correct factory-set Engineer or User code is entered).
5. A tamper fault may be present if an RKP is configured but offline.

Each RKP must have a unique address and be properly connected before powering up the system.
