Introduction
Read this booklet carefully before starting assembly. When you receive the product, it is important for
you to inspect it thoroughly to establish whether it has sustained any transport damage. Soapstone is a
soft stone, so be careful when removing the packaging.

Assembly manual

Please refer to the 'Installation instructions and manual for 2175CBS3' for the installation and
operation of the 2175CBS3. Together, the device and casing weight 344 kg. Make sure that the floor
has sufficient load-bearing capacity.
Step-by-step assembly
Assembling the soapstone casing is simple as long as you follow the instructions exactly. Proceed as
follows:
Preparation

Bend the lips of the sheet metal braces 20, 21 and 22 upwards with a screwdriver (see drawing
"preparation".

Bend the lips of base plate 18 upwards and take-out plate 18b (see drawing "preparation").

Position base plate 18. The minimum distance to a flammable wall must be at least 500mm at
the sides and 50mm at the back.

If the outside air supply is to be connected at the rear, the round cover plate at the bottom of
the sheet metal back plate 24 must be pushed out. If the rear connection of the device is to be
used, the cover plate at the top of the back plate 24 must be pushed out.
Assembly
Fig.1: position support plates 19 onto base plate 18. Mount plate 18b onto support plates 19, use the
supplied M6x12 bolts and nuts (4x).
Fig.2: mount heat shield 23 onto back plate 24. Now mount this assembly onto base plate 18 and
support plates 19. Use the supplied M6x12 bolts and nuts for all these connections (11x).
Fig.3: mount the device onto support plates 19. Use the supplied M6x15 bolts (4x).
Fig.4: mount back plate 24 onto the device. Use the supplied M6x10 bolts (flat crosshead, 3x) and M6
nuts. Position braces b', b and d(2x) onto the base plate. The braces fit in back plate 24.
Fig.5: side stones 2 (2x) and 3 (2x) can be put in place. Soapstone 2 fits on braces b and b'.
Fig.6: now slide the sheet metal brace 20 over the stones so that they are held together. Maintain 10cm
space.
Fig.7: stones 4 (2x) and 5 can be put into place.
Fig.8: now slide the sheet metal brace 20 over the stones until it clicks into back plate 24.
Fig.9: soapstone 1 (2x) can be put into place; the stones are held into place by brace c. The sheet metal
braces c fit in the stone at the top and in back plate 24.
