CORRECT AND PROPER USE

The manufacturer accepts no liability for any damage or injury arising from the appliance being
used for purposes other than those for which it is designed, from incorrect use, or from non-
professional repairs. In addition, guarantee claims will not be entertained in such cases. The
appliance should be used only for cutting or chopping up foods (see processing instructions). It
is not permitted to put the appliance to any other use.
PROPER ASSEMBLy
CAUTION!
It is essential to comply with the following assembly sequence:
1)
Firstly, place the bowl "b" on the motor unit "a" and fasten.
2)
Put the chopper blade "c" or the desired attachment "e" "f" on the drive shaft.
3)
Seal the bowl "b" with the lid "d" or "g'.
The appliance must only be assembled in this way.
hOw TO USE ThE ChOPPER
Before using the appliance for the first time, thoroughly wash all those parts that will come into
correct with food.
(Pic A1) Place bowl "b" on top of motor unit "a", ensuring that the two closing fixtures interlock.
Turn bowl "b" in an anti-clock-wise direction as far as it will go.
(Pic A2) Place the chopper blade "c" on the drive shaft.
(Pic A3) Put the food to be processed into bowl "b". information on the maximum filling
amounts can be found in the processing instructions.
(Pic A4,A5,A6) Take hold of lid "d" by the two outer grooved and ridged areas. Put the lid onto
the bowl in such a way as to allow the L-shaped lug to be turned into the safety slit situated
beneath switch (Pic A6). Turn the lid in an anti-clockwise direction as far as it will go. The lug
on the lid must be seated in the slit.
Note:
The appliance can be started only if the lug on the lid is correctly positioned in the safety slit.
(Pic A7 ) Insert the mains plug in the socket outlet.
(Pic A8) Rotate the speed selector (aa) to "ON" position.
(Pic A9) Disengage and remove the lid only when the chopper blade has stopped rotating.
(Pic A10, Pic A11) Carefully remove the chopper blade and empty the bowl.
When you have finished preparing your food, pull out the mains plug.
Tips
-
Do not work with the chopper blade for more than 2minute at a time. After 2 minute of conti-
nuous operation, allow the appliance to cool down for 5 minutes.

Do not attempt to cut or chop up hard food-stuffs such as coffee, ice etc., as this could
damage the chopper blade.

Allow cooked foods to cool down slightly before placing them in the bowl.

Remove any bones and tendons before putting meat in the bowl.

Use only the foodstuffs listed in the processing instructions. Always observe the maximum
filling amounts when working with the chopper blade (see processing instructions).

Should you wish to process different types of foods, always start with the hardest one.

Stop processing if you notice that bits of food are sticking to the walls of the bowl. Remove
these food pieces using a spatula.
