- Page 7 C CHECK THE FILTERS 31 Spread out some newspaper, and wear rubber gloves. , Filters must be completely dry before replacing in the cleaner. 32 Pull the pre-motor filter away from the rear of the bag compartment, and tap it over the dustbin, to dislodge any dirt. 33 If it’s really dirty, gently pull the fibre filter out of the pre-motor filter, soak it in warm soapy water for a few minutes, rinse under a running tap, then let it air dry.
