Nordic climate, which utilises the outdoor air as its energy source. Contact with AMS 10 AMS 10 is controlled in various ways depending on your system. Your contact with the heat pump takes place via SPLIT box (HBS 05) and your indoor module (VVM) or control module (SMO). See relevant manual for more information. -

Regular checks Your SPLIT box only requires minimal maintenance. The condensation hose should be checked to ensure that condensation can run out to a drain. If there is any suspicion of leakage, pipe connections on AMS 10 should be checked. NOTE Insufficient oversight can cause serious damage to AMS 10 which is not covered by the guarantee. - Page 14 Keep free of snow and ice Prevent snow from building up and covering the grilles and drain holes on AMS 10. The heat pump can be set to "silent mode", which reduces the heat pump's noise level. The function is useful when AMS 10 must be placed in noise sensitive areas.
