Push both brake handles (Alpha Basic) or brake levers (Alpha
Advance) away from your body.
A clear audible "Click" indicates that the brake is in the right
position.

To release the brakes, pull the brake handles (Alpha Basic) or
brake levers (Alpha Advance) backwards.
Adjusting the brake effect
For desirable braking strength, adjust the brake wire.
Suitable tools: 8 mm and 10 mm spanner (not included).
1.
Loosen the locking nut and turn the hexagon nipple counter
clockwise in order to increase the braking effect. The distance
between the brake clamp and the wheel should be 2 mm.
2.
Tighten the locking nut again to fixate the new adjustment.
3.
Check the braking effect by engaging the parking brake and check
that the wheel can´t rotate.
WARNING!
– Make sure to tighten the lock nuts after adjustment.

WARNING!
Risk of falling
– Be careful if the wheels stop against an obstacle.
Place the walking aid a bit in front of you and take a step towards
it whilst using the hand grips for support.
