When in operation, the brake-fluid boil-
ing point will drop due to the continuous
absorption of moisture from the atmo-
sphere. If the brakes are placed under
extreme stress (for example on a long,
steep downhill stretch) vapor bubbles
can form in the brake system, impairing
braking efficiency.
Have the brake fluid changed every 2
years, if possible in the spring.
Types of vehicle use
The scope and frequency of mainte-
nance work is primarily dependent on
the different service conditions.
The variable Chrysler Vans LLC mainte-
nance system satisfies these require-
ments. It offers a choice of service
groups with different service intervals.
The service intervals depend on the type
of use of the vehicle.
Vehicles in normal use
on freeways and throughways
in regional and overland traffic
General
in large cities and urban centers.
Vehicles used in difficult conditions
lots of stop-and-go traffic
regular journeys on dirt roads
extremely short journeys (e. g. couri-
er transport).
Carefully estimate which conditions
your vehicle is predominantly exposed
to. Then select the necessary service
group.
Information is available from any
Sprinter service center.
