OX Wi-Fi Networking

OX has built-in Wi-Fi network connectivity. OX's Wi-Fi is used by the OX software app for
wireless remote control of OX's Rigs, Rig Sets, and all other OX settings. To view all OX
app screens and settings, the Mac/iPad running the OX app must be connected to OX via
Wi-Fi.
The Mac/iPad running the OX app can connect to OX in two ways. The Mac/iPad can be
paired directly to OX's Wi-Fi hotspot, or both the Mac/iPad and OX can both be paired to
an existing external Wi-Fi network at the same time.

OX Wi-Fi Hotspot

OX's standalone Wi-Fi hotspot is always active. OX's default Wi-Fi hotspot network name
(SSID) and password are printed on OX's serial number label on the rear panel. Every OX
hardware unit has a unique hotspot name and password.
Tip: OX's default hotspot name and password can be changed in
within the OX software app.
The Mac/iPad device running the OX app is typically paired directly to OX's hotspot for
wireless remote control of OX when an external Wi-Fi network (such as an existing home
Wi-Fi network) is unavailable.
How To Pair With OX's Hotspot
To pair a Mac/iPad with OX, go into the Mac/iPad system Wi-Fi settings and select OX's
hotspot name, then enter the password — just as you would when connecting the device
to any other Wi-Fi network.
Note: Pairing to OX's Wi-Fi hotspot is done within the system settings of the Mac/
iPad device, not within the OX app.
