NOTE:
and there can be only one serial port session active at a time. Telnet
takes priority, so the serial port is terminated when a Telnet
connection is made. The serial connection is restored after the Telnet
session is completed but re-logging in is required. A password is
required to login to the serial port session as password checking is
skipped only at initial power on.

Serial Cabling and Emissions Requirements

The switch uses a standard serial cable with a male 9-pin D-Subminiature connector (but
only pins 2, 3 and 5 are required/supported; if 7 is used, this signal must always be driven
high, with the following pinouts:

Connections
