NOTICE: The PUK is an eight-digit master code provided by your service provider.

Changing PIN Codes

Procedure:
1 From the home screen, press the Menu key.
2 Select Security → Change Code.
3 Radio prompts for the Old Code. Enter currently used 4-digit security code (default setting is
0000).
4 If the entered code matches the old code, radio prompts for the new code twice.
Your radio displays Code Accepted.

Keypad Lock Feature

The keypad lock feature allows locking the keypad to prevent pressing a key accidentally. The keypad
lock/unlock can be invoked by using a predefined menu shortcut. Press Menu, and then Left
Navigation key.
NOTICE: Additionally, from the radio menu, you can invoke the keypad lock (not the unlock) by
selecting MENU → Security → Keylock Setup → Lock Keypad.
An active keypad lock additionally locks the following accessory buttons:
No-Dot
1–Dot
2–Dot
Your service provider can determine which of the following elements are additionally inoperative while
the keypad is locked:
The PTT button (also on accessories).
NOTICE: Your service provider can determine the following elements for PTT button:

Lock all buttons.

Lock radio PTT button only when RSM is connected.
NOTICE: If no RSM is connected when powering up the radio, radio PTT button is
useable. If an RSM is connected when powering up the radio, radio PTT button is
locked. Disconnecting a connected RSM requires restarting of the radio to unlock
the radio PTT button.

Lock accessories PTT button only.
NOTICE: Bluetooth PTT is not affected.

Lock on Start-Up.
