Switch off and unplug the unit and any other external device connected to the
unit before attempting to connect the unit to any external device. Failure to
comply may result damages to both the unit and the connected device.
4.1 Pairing Devices
1.
Deactivate the bluetooth function in the
host device before pairing.
2.
Switch on Prestigio Bluetooth GPS
Receiver to start pairing process.
Enter pass code "0000" if prompted by
host device.
3.
The pairing procedure is only required
before first time usage.
4.
A quick connect device named
"iBT-GPS" will be created in Bluetooth
Manager.
5.
Simply click on the shortcut to
reconnect to Prestigio Bluetooth
GPS Receiver in the future.
6.
After pairing process is completed,
please click on "Serial Port" or
"Outbound COM Port" to confirm the
assigned COM port when connecting to
a PC/PDA device.
7.
Start loading navigation software on
the host device. Please make sure that
the "Serial Port" is matching that of on
the device.
8.
To stop the bluetooth function, please
switch off the GPS function on the host
device. Prestigio Bluetooth GPS
Receiver will be disconnected from the
host device.
9.
Power off Prestigio Bluetooth GPS
Receiver to conserve power usage.
