Provisioning

The Emergency Survivability Failover Configuration is available with AudioCodes' analog gateways
MediaPack 114 and 118. AudioCodes offers these models with the FXO port necessary for connecting the
analog POTS line.
The AudioCodes analog gateway MediaPack 114 or 118 connects to the POTS line from the telco provider on
its FXO port. The gateway is deployed in the customer LAN granting access to the Polycom VVX phones that
will be using the gateway for emergency survivability. The AudioCodes gateway must be configured either
using a configuration file or using the gateway's element manager.
The details of the AudioCodes MediaPack gateways are available here.

Gateway configuration

The gateway must be configured manually by loading a prepared configuration file on the gateway's element
manager or configured directly using the element manager GUI.
These are the steps for configuring the MediaPack 114 Gateway using the element manager GUI. Similar
steps are applicable for MediaPack 118.
