Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge А1210 2.4 MEASUREMENTS Before doing the measurements: select the transducer from the library, adjust the instrument and select the material for measurement. If the set velocity in the material differs from the real ine, then adjust the velocity manually or perform the calibration. Accuracy of the measurement results depends on the accuracy of the velocity settings.
Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge А1210 diameter pipes when the transducer is tilted; the readins will remain stable when measuring the flat surfaces. When inspecting the flat metal objects with a thickness of less than 4-5 mm there is no need to make the contact liquid layer as thin as possible, i.e. there is no need to strongly press the transducer against the surface, forcing it against the surface.
