Fuel types

1GR-FE engine
Unleaded gasoline, Research octane number 95 or higher
1KD-FTV engine
Diesel fuel, Cetane number 48 or higher

Use of ethanol blended gasoline in a gasoline engine

Toyota allows the use of ethanol blended gasoline where the ethanol content
is up to 10 %. Make sure that the ethanol blended gasoline to be used has a
Research octane number that follows the above.

Vehicles without sub fuel tank system
Approximately 87 L (23.0 gal., 19.1 Imp.gal.)
Vehicles with sub fuel tank system
Approximately 150 L (39.6 gal., 33.0 Imp.gal)

After refueling, turn the fuel tank
cap until you hear a click. Once
the cap is released, it will turn
slightly in the opposite direction.
