DANGER: Danger of electric shock!
▶ Disconnect the power supply before any
work on the device.
All regulating, control and safety equipment on this device is
fully wired and tested ready for operation.
CAUTION: Lightning strike!
▶ The device must have its own connection
in the control panel and be protected
with earthing and a 30 mA surge current
circuit breaker. A lightning protection
device should also be provided in areas
of frequent lightning strikes.
6.1

Power cable

The electrical connection must be made in
accordance with the applicable regulations
for electrical systems in residential
buildings.
▶ An earth lead must be present.
▶ Use a socket with an earth lead for the power supply.
6.2

Replacing power cable

Damaged power cables must be replaced
with original spare parts.
▶ Pull the power cable.
▶ Release the retaining screw for the cable on the casing of
the device.
▶ Remove the casing of the device (Fig. 21, page 25).
▶ Remove the control device from its support plate.
▶ Release the power cable from the terminals on the control
device.
▶ Remove the power cable and replace it with a new one.
▶ Attach the casing of the device.
▶ Check the proper function.

Gas regulating (only for approved
contractors)
7.1

Factory setting

Never tamper with any sealed components.
All devices are supplied as sealed units, after they have been
set at the factory to the values given on the data plate.
Natural gas
The device must not be put into operation, if
the gas supply pressure is below 17 mbar or
above 25 mbar.
LPG
The device must not be put into operation,
if the gas supply pressure:
for propane is less than 25 mbar or more
than 45 mbar
for butane is less than 20 mbar or more than
35 mbar.
DANGER:
▶ The work described below may only be
carried out by approved contractors.
