Onboard 82545EM Chip
This field is used to enable or disable the onboard 82545EM LAN Chip.
Watch Dog Timer
The controller has a function that can enable/disable the Watch Dog Timer Function. The default is
Disabled.
Backplane Select
Select a 64-Bit Backplane or Rear I/O supported backplane.

Move the cursor to this field and press <Enter>. The following screen will appear.

NOTE
Onboard FDC Controller
Select Enabled if your system has a floppy disk controller (FDC) installed on the system board and
you wish to use it. If you install an add-in FDC or the system has no floppy drive, select Disabled in
this field.
Onboard Serial Port 1/ Onboard Serial Port 2
• Disabled: Disables the onboard Serial Port 1 / onboard Serial Port 2
• 3F8/IRQ4, 2F8/IRQ3, 3E8/IRQ4, 2E8/IRQ3: Allows you to manually select an I/O address
for the onboard serial port 1/ onboard serial port 2
Onboard Parallel Port
Select a logical LPT port address and corresponding interrupt for the physical parallel port.
