RFID PPI1 Commands

IMPORTANT
For all examples make sure Label Length in the QUICK SETUP
menu matches the physical length of the installed media.

Read the unique identification number of the RFID tag
(embedded in the smart label).
^RI x
^RI Get Tag Unique ID command.
x The field number to which the data will be
assigned. The default is 0, and other
acceptable values range from 1 to 9999.
The PPI1 only supports Alien Technology Class 1a
tags, which do not have the unique identification
numbers. Therefore, the PPI1 absorbs this command.
Select the type of the RFID tag (embedded in the smart
label).
^RS x
^RS Set Tag Type command.
x Number assigned to the type of the tag.
The default is 0, and other acceptable
values range from 1 to 9999.
The PPI1 only supports Alien Technology Class 1a
tags. There are no alternative choices. Therefore, the
PPI1 absorbs this command.
