8. Detach the bracket from the hard disk drive.
To install a new hard disk drive in the optical drive bay, do the following:
1. Attach the bracket to the new hard disk drive.
2. Insert the new hard disk drive into the adapter 1 and pivot it downward 2 . Ensure that the drive is
seated in place.
3. Close the cover of the adapter.
