MODE CHANGE Selection of a desired mode can be made by pressing the corresponding button in the MENU display. STOPWATCH ALARM mode mode TIMER mode TIME/ WORLD CALENDAR RESORT TIME mode mode [MENU display] * When the desired mode is selected, the opening graphic display is shown before the selected mode appears. - Page 3 CHANGEOVER BETWEEN NORMAL AND ENLARGED DISPLAYS In all modes except the WORLD RESORT TIME, the display can be selected between the normal display that shows all the data with characters of a normal size and the enlarged display that shows the main data with characters of an enlarged size.

- Page 7 DEMONSTRATION FUNCTION Provided with a demonstration function, the watch shows the displays in each mode. Press for 3 seconds in TIME/CALENDAR mode to start the demonstration. * The name of the selected city appears in place of the day, and then the demonstration display will start, showing the display of each mode repeatedly.

ALARM MODE The alarm can be set to ring daily at five different times a day. The alarms can be engaged and disengaged independently of one another. Press in MENU display to show ALARM mode. STOPWATCH MODE The stopwatch measures up to 10 hours in 1/100 second increments. Press in MENU display to show STOPWATCH mode. TIMER MODE Two types of timer are available: 10-channel preset timer and adjustable timer. The adjustable timer can be set up to 9 hours and 59 minutes in minute increments. NOTES ON USING THE WATCH TIME/CALENDAR MODE [TIME/CALENDAR SETTING] The calendar automatically adjusts for odd and even months including February of leap years from 1999 to 2048. Once the year, month and date have been set, the day of the week is automatically set. Setting the seconds: •... - Page 23 and becomes lower as they decrease. The contrast level has been initially set at “10” at the factory. When the contrast level is set to “0”, the digits on the display will be unable to read. When the battery expires, be sure to replace it as soon as possible to prevent any malfunction. We recommend that you contact an AUTHORIZED PULSAR DEALER for battery replacement.
