Useful Information

Voicemail service

Voicemail is an answering service that may be offered by your phone service provider. This
service can also record calls when you are unavailable to answer the phone or when your line is
busy. Messages are recorded on the phone company system.
When you have new messages,

Character entry
The dial keys are used to enter characters and numbers. Each dial key has multiple characters
assigned to it. The characters that can be entered depend on the character entry mode
(page 30).
– Press MFN or MEN to move the cursor left or right.
– Press dial keys to enter characters and numbers.
– Press MCN to erase the character or number highlighted by the cursor. Press and hold MCN to
erase all characters or numbers.
– Press * (Aaa) to switch between uppercase and lowercase.
– To enter another character located on the same dial key, press MEN to move the cursor to the
next space, then press the appropriate dial key.
– If you do not press any dial key within 2 seconds after entering a character, the character is
fixed and the cursor moves to the next space.
Character entry modes
The available character entry modes are Alphabet (ABC), Numeric (0-9), Greek (
