7. Remove the regulator from the front of the gas control valve. Replace with the propane regulator,
using the new gasket and screws included with the regulator. NOTE: Leak test this area after the
heater is installed, gas is connected, and the main burner is lit.
Remove and discard the three screws using a
slotted screwdriver of Torx T-20.

8. Replace the firebox components to restore the appliance to the correct configuration.
9. See the section "Steps for Finalizing the Installation" for instructions on starting the appliance and
verifying correct operation (remove glass, bleed gas line, leak test gas connections, start the heater,
inspect pilot flame, adjust air-shutter, and inspect burner performance). Verify gas output pressure
(manifold pressure) at this time (see the section "Gas Line Requirements" for details).

Remove and discard the
regulator, diaphram, spring
and center post.

Install the LP regulator. Use the screws
included with the LP regulator. Tighten to
approximately 25 Lbs. torque.

Place the LP label on top of
the control cover near the gas
control valve.
NOTE: Make sure the
regulator gasket is correctly
aligned before installation.
