Chapter 2. Adding Disk Drive Modules

This chapter describes how to add disk drive modules to a unit in a ProFibre
Storage Array that is already installed as part of your system.
You can do this only if:
1. You are authorized by your organization.
2. You have the correct disk drive module. Refer to Figure 13. This disk drive

Attention: Disk drive modules are fragile. Handle them with care. Keep them well
away from strong magnetic fields.
You do not need to remove power from the unit when adding a disk drive
module.
After you have added a disk drive module to the unit, you must add it into your
system software configuration by using the system programs.

Controllers: Installation and User Manual for guidance on how to do this.
