When an HDMI jack on the TV is not Audio Return Channel (ARC)-compatible
The Audio Return Channel (ARC) is a function that sends TV digital sound to audio-visual
devices through an HDMI cable.
If "ARC" is not indicated for the TV's HDMI input jack, this TV is not compatible with the Audio
Return Channel (ARC) function.
To output audio and video signals from the receiver to the TV, connect the receiver and the
TV using an HDMI cable
To output TV audio signals to the receiver, connect the receiver and the TV using an optical
digital audio cable
