Remote Control Direct Track Entry
To select a track directly, use th e numbe r pa d on the remote contro l (10).
For single digit entries, press th e correspondin g numbe r fo r two digit
entries. Press th e 10+ butto n followe d by the last digit (i.e., for track 16 ,
press 10+ an d the n 6).
GOTO Direct Track/Chapter Access
Use the GO TO functio n to access a track (chapter ) directly.
1. Press th e GO TO button (25) on th e remot e control. The On Screen
Display informatio n will appear wit h th e track numbe r highlighted.
2. Us e the number keys on the remote control to enter th e 3-digit track
number directly (i.e . fo r track 10 , enter "010 ")
3. Pres s the ENTER butto n (5 ) to confirm an d begin playback.
CD Playback Information
Th e following informatio n is displayed at th e top of th e screen during CD
playback :
TRK ##/## –"1/18 " indicates th e first of 18 tracks on th e CD is currentl y
playing.
"X" indicate s repea t play is OFF, "1" indicate s repeat track,
and "A" indicates repeat disc.
Press th e button on the remote contro l (26) repeatedl y to vie w the
following information fo r elapsed/remainin g playin g time:
00:02:18 –total elapsed playing tim e of current track;
C –00 :34 :37–remaining playing time of curren t track;
T 00:02:1 8 –total elapsed playing time for current disc;
T–00 :3 4 :37 –remainin g playing tim e fo r current disc.
DVD/VCD OPERATION
Inserting a Disc
Insert a disc label-sid e up into the disc slot (11) and the disc will begin to
pla y.
NOTE: Press th e DISC or USB button (9,12) to alternate between th e
USB and DVD source .
Ejecting a DVD
Press th e EJECT butto n (13) to sto p DVD play an d eject the DVD.
Pausing Playback
Press th e II button (3) to suspen d or resume disc play.

Stop Playback

Press the 1/ button (27) to suspen d disc pla y, and "PRE STOP" will appea r in
th e display.
Press the II button (3) to resume dis c play from th e last position . Press 1/
u
twice and "STOP" will appear on th e display.
Track Select
Press th e >>| or |<< button (2 , 5) to advance to th e next or previous track on the
disc. The selected track number will appear on th e display.
Enter/Select
While in menu mode, press th e ENTER button (4) to select a menu option.
Language Selection
While playing a DVD, press the 6/FOLDER UP button (37) to chang e the DVD audio
language .
Fast Forward/Reverse
Press and hold the >>| or |<< butto n (2, 5) or press the >> or << buttons on th e
remote contro l (17) once fo r FORWARD X 2. Press and hold additional times fo r
FORWARD X 4, X 8, X 20 or PLAY. Press the
remote contro l (17) to end fast forwar d or reverse and resume normal playback.
Repeat Chapter/Title
Press th e 4/ button (33) on the control panel or the RPT butto n (21) on th e remote
control multiple times during playback to select from th e followin g repea t pla y
options:
• VCD: RER1 (track), RER ALL (disc), RPT OFF
•
DVD: RER Chapter, RER Title , RPT All, RPT OFF
Playback Control (VCD Only)
Press th e MENU button (14 ) on the remote control to turn Playback Control on/o ff
when this feature is available on your VCD.
Programmed Playback
1. Press the PROG button (7 ) on the remote control to access the programmed
playback screen .
