Switch output simulation (→  215) = On
Define the switch state to be simulated.

The switch status assumes the value defined in this parameter. This helps to check correct
operation of connected control units.
 Expert → Diagnostics → Simulation → Sim. alarm
Switch alarm simulation on or off.

When selecting the On option, the device generates an alarm. This helps to check the
correct output behavior of the device in the case of an alarm.
An active simulation is indicated by the diagnostic message C484 Simulation failure
mode.

Access status display (→  149)/Access status tooling (→  148) = Service
Select diagnostic event to be simulated.
