The appliance is not switched on and the power sup-
ply symbol  is lit up in the display.
 Switch the appliance on.
The plug is not properly plugged into the electrical

supply symbol  appears in the display when the
appliance is switched off.
Check whether the fuse has tripped. There could be a
fault with the appliance, the household electrical
wiring or another electrical appliance.
