General Features

The DLR-PR001-XX is an RFID UHF Portal reader and can
be used with dedicated antennas (up to 4 antennas), refer
to the
Products list and accessories on page 5
numbers.
You can connect to the DLR-PR001-XX using the serial
port or the Ethernet port (see
Description on page 6
Two USB ports are presents, they can be used to connect
external devices like Wi-Fi or Bluetooth adapters, flash
pens and others devices.
Lastly, the DLR-PR001-XX has a bidirectional port with 13
GPIOs (General Purpose Input/Output lines) to be used to
control external devices or to send trigger signals to the
reader (see "GPIO port" in "External Interfaces description"
paragraph for more details).

Getting Started

The DLR-PR001-XX reader can be used with an Ethernet
cable or with the standard serial port.
To begin, you need first to download and install the .NET
framework 2.0 (only if .NET is not already installed on your
PC). Follow the steps below to familiarize yourself with
the product.
1.
Download the latest version of the Demo software or
a similar application from the Datalogic website and
install it on your PC.
2.
Connect the antenna to conn. #1 through an
appropriate antenna cable.
3.
Connect the power supply.
4.
Connect the reader directly to your PC using the
serial

interface (TCP/IP or COM port).

Place a tag under the antenna field, click on "start
inventory" and see the tag information on the main
window of application.
