Do one of the following:
a. Extend the server from the rack (Extend the server from the rack on page 24).
b. Remove the server from the rack (Remove the server from the rack on page 25).

Remove the access panel (Remove the access panel on page 25).
6.
Remove all standard fans from the fan bays.
7.
Remove fan blanks from the fan bays, if installed.
8.
Install high-performance fans in each of the seven fan bays.
If needed, ensure each fan is securely installed by pressing the tab. Do not press on other areas of the
fan.
