    Control Panel Oven function selection kn b Use this control knob to select the oven function you require. o The indicator light on the control panel will turn on when an oven function is in use. Thermostat control knob o Use this control knob to control the temperature in the oven.

    Before first use o To remove any residue from the oven that may have been left from manufacturing proces should select conventional or fan oven function and turn the thermostat dial to its maximum temperature setting. o It is perfectly normal for a smell to be produced during this process.

    IMPORTANT: When fitting the handle to the enamelled baking tray, hook the handle over the edge of the tray and through the wire rack at a central point, a long the tray edge. Lower the andle fully down to secure it. You should not place food inside the ca vity, until the correct ooking temperature has been reached.

    Install tion The installation must be carried out by a suitably qualified person, in accordance with the current version of the following. UK Regulation s and Safety Standards or their European Norm Replacements. Building Reg ulations (issued by the Department of the Environment).

    Securing the safety chains o Before securing the safety chains, check that you have completed the installation process and that all connections have been made successfully and that the cooker is in its final operating position. o To fix the security chains to their anchor brackets: Loosen the hex nut at the unattached end of the safety chain, until it is flush with the screw end.

    Electrical connection This appliance must be installed by a qualified person in accordance with the latest edition of the I.E.E. Regulations and in compliance with Baumatic’s instructions. Before connecting the appliance, make sure that the supply voltage marked on the rating plate corresponds with your mains supply voltage.
