EXPRESS PARTS (formerly EURP)
The Express Parts formerly EURP Program is part of Compaq's comprehensive product
purchase protection plan. Leveraging the Presario
Parts Progam enables customers to easily service their own PCs.
A Compaq Support Specialist will diagnosis and assess whether a replacement
part is required to address a defective hardware component
Replacement parts are delivered on average within 2 business days
Detailed installation instructions are provided, including how to return the
defective part back to Compaq
Replacement part
Available for Presario desktops and mobile products manufactured after June
2000 and covered by the original product warranty.
Available only in the continental US and Canada
Compaq's industry-leading Easy Access Design provides tool-less entry into the chassis
for easy upgrades. This design also enables customers to easily service their own PCs, if
necessary, under Compaq's Express Parts Program.
The benefits of Compaq's Easy Access Design include:
ACCESSIBLE: Allows customers to quickly access the inside of the chassis
without the use of tools.
ECONOMICAL: Customers can easily upgrade their Presario PC without having
to pay a technician for installation labor.
SIMPLE: All parts in the Presario PC are easily replaceable by the customer.
TIME-SAVING: The Express Parts Program provides customers with a more
rapid repair turnaround time compared to mail-in or carry-in service.
CONVENIENCE: If a hardware component is defective, a replacement is
shipped with detailed instructions directly to your home or office. You replace
the part at your convenience.
PRODUCTIVE: The Express Parts Program helps to minimize down times if a
service event is required. For example, if a component such as a CD-Rom drive
becomes defective, the PC is still operational while waiting for the replacement
part.
