The Disable port icon is represented as a port with an X. Hold the
cursor over the icon to display the icon name: Disable. To disable a
port:
1. Start Cajun P550/P880 Manager. For information about
starting the Cajun P550/P880 Manager, refer to "Starting the
Cajun P550/P880 Manager" earlier in this chapter.
2. In the switch representation, select the port to disable.
3. In the Cajun P550/P880 Device Manager tool bar, click
Disable Port.
4. Click apply to disable the port, or cancel to restore previous
settings (Figure 2-11).
The Half-Duplex icon is depicted as a white arrow, pointing to the
right, inside a blue circle. Hold the cursor over the icon to display
the icon name: Half Duplex. To set port duplexing to half-duplex:
1. Start Cajun P550/P880 Manager. For information about
starting the Cajun P550/P880 Manager, refer to "Starting the
Cajun P550/P880 Manager" earlier in this chapter.
2. In the switch representation, select the port.
3. In the Cajun P550/P880Device Manager tool bar, click Half
Duplex.
4. Click apply to set port duplexing to half-duplex, or cancel to
restore previous settings (Figure 2-11).
The Full-Duplex icon is depicted as two white arrows, one pointing
to the right and one pointing to the left, inside a blue circle. Hold the
cursor over the icon to display the icon name: Full Duplex. To set
port duplexing to full-duplex:
1. Start Cajun P550/P880 Manager. For information about
starting the Cajun p550/P880 Manager, refer to "Starting the
Cajun P550/P880 Manager" earlier in this chapter.
2. In the switch representation, select the port.
