Vehicle Equipment
This chapter describes all standard, national and
special equipment provided in the model series.
Therefore equipment not available in a vehicle is
also described, for example the selected special
equipment or national version. That also applies
to safety-relevant functions and systems.
Integrated universal remote
control
Principle
With the integrated universal remote control, up
to 3 functions of radio-controlled systems, for
example, garage door drivers or lighting sys‐
tems, can be operated. The integrated universal
remote control thereby replaces up to 3 different
hand-held remotes. For operation, the buttons
on the interior mirror must be programmed with
the desired functions. The relevant system is
needed to program the hand-held remote.
During programming
During programming and before a system
is operated with the integrated universal remote
control, make sure that no persons, animals or
objects are within the swivelling or movement
range of the system in question, as otherwise
injury or damage could result.
Also follow the safety instructions supplied with
the hand-held transmitter.◀
Before you sell the vehicle, delete the saved
functions beforehand for your own security.
Compatibility
If this symbol is depicted on the pack‐
aging or in the instruction manual of the
system to be operated, this is usually
compatible with the integrated universal remote
control.
