Connect the 20-pin connector to the camera's VF
connector using the supplied connecting cable.
Clamp the supplied connecting cable with the two
clampers as shown in the following figure.

Depending on the position of the viewfinder, it may be
necessary to remove the connecting cable from the clamp.
To detach the HDVF-550 from the camera
To detach the HDVF-550, pull the lever and push down
the button while pulling the viewfinder towards you, as
shown in the figure below.

Turning on the HDVF-550

When camera is turned on, power is supplied to the
HDVF-550.
The picture will be displayed several seconds after
turning on the camera.
Note
When the BRIGHT knob is turned fully
counterclockwise, no picture may appear in the
Clamp
viewfinder.
