Part 2. Troubleshooting
2.2.2.8. "F3-00" – Discharge pipe temperature abnormality
Trigger
Discharge temperature is too high:
If the discharge temperature detected
is above A°C, 10 times within 200 min.
If within 200 min the discharge
temperature detected is 10 times
above B°C for 15 min.
Possible cause
Refrigerant shortage.
Humidity in refrigerant (ice formation in
expansion valve).
Non condensables in refrigerant.
Stop valve is closed.
Faulty 4-way valve.
Faulty expansion valve.
Faulty outdoor unit main PCB.
Faulty discharge thermistor.
Faulty heat exchanger thermistor.
Faulty outdoor temperature thermistor.
2.2.2.9. "F6-00" – High pressure abnormality or refrigerant overcharge
Trigger
Outdoor heat exchanger thermistor meas-
ures temperature > 60°C~65°C (depend-
ing on model).
Possible cause
Installation space is too small.
Dirty outdoor heat exchanger.
Faulty outdoor fan motor.
Faulty stop valve.
Faulty heat exchanger thermistor.
Faulty expansion valve.

2.2. Error based troubleshooting
Reset
Automatic reset when temperature drops
below C°C.
Manual reset via remote controller.
Corrective action
Charge the correct refrigerant amount
when required.
In case of suspicion of humidity, recover,
vacuum and recharge with virgin refriger-
ant.
In case of suspicion of non condensables,
recover, vacuum and recharge with virgin
refrigerant.
Open stop valve when required.
Replace the 4-way valve coil or body
when required.
Replace the expansion valve body or
motor when required.
Restore the power to the outdoor main
PCB.
Replace outdoor main PCB when HAP
LED is not blinking in regular intervals.
Replace discharge thermistor when
required.
Replace heat exchanger thermistor when
required.
Replace outdoor temperature thermistor
when required.
Reset
Automatic reset when temperature drops
below 50°C.
Corrective action
Adjust installation space.
Clean the outdoor heat exchanger.
Replace fan motor when required.
Adjust wiring when required.
Replace the stop valve when required.
