STUDIO UNIT TELEMETRY THEORY
The demodulated telemetry doubleword and clock are processed by the reset
circuit to produce a
pulse between each incoming doubleword.
The demoduLated
input
is
switched to the 1st. UART.
Upon reception of the first 10 bits in valid
format, the demodulated input is switched to the 2nd UART.
Presence of a generated reset pulse will force the displays on except with
subaudible telemetry.

If there is no telemetry signal present, the displays will
be blanked.
When the displays are blanked,

are the status indicators.
The
channel selected at the Studio Unit commands the decimal point placement.
If
channel zero is selected and telemetry is being sent to the studio unit, the
alarm circuit at the studio unit will be activated unless a raise or lower command
is being given.
The optional RY3S Studio Interface Relay Board is used to output
dry contacts for the status and alarm circuits.
