DECIMAL POINT PROGRAMMING OF THE STUDIO UNIT, Continued
channel one, 5 and 6 for channel two, 7 and
B
for channel 3, and the
same
for the
other switch groups for channels 4,5,6. and 7, channels 8,9, 10, and 11, and
channels 12, 13, 14, and 15 in the last group.
With each group, four combinations are possible corresponding to the three
possible locations of the decimal point Or
its absence.
By depressing the top
or
bottom of One or both switches, the decimal may be set as desired.
The units are
normally shipped with the decimal points programmed at different locations so that
the setting for each may be noted.
CHANNEL
ASSIGNMENT LOG
A channel assignment log should be prepared giving the channel numbers, ra1se
and lower function,
if
any, for each channel, and the metering function of each
channel.
If the status and alarm functions are used, note their meaning in your
particular installation.
This channel assignment log should be posted near the
studio and transmitter units.
Channels may be incorporated in your forms for the
required loggings of readings.
There are many ways of assigning functions and readings, but
as
an example,
a channel assignment log might appear as follows:
