3 Peel off the tapes that secure the touch-pad assembly to the palm-rest
assembly.

4 Open the latches, and then disconnect the touch-pad cable from the system
board and the touch-pad assembly.
5 Remove the four screws (M2x2 Big Head) that secure the touchpad to the
palm-rest assembly.
