4.5.7.3 Delete a ASA Logical Device via CLI

1) Enter security services mode:
Firepower# scope ssa
2) View details for the logical devices on the chassis:
Firepower /ssa # show logical-device
3) For each logical device that you want to delete, enter the following command:
Firepower /ssa # delete logical-device device_name
4) View details for the applications installed on the logical devices:
Firepower /ssa # show app-instance
5) For each application that you want to delete, enter the following commands:
Firepower /ssa # scope slot slot_number
a)
Firepower /ssa/slot # delete app-instance application_name
b)
Firepower /ssa/slot # exit
c)
6) Commit the configuration:
commit-buffer

4.5.7.4 Delete a ASA Logical Device via GUI

1) Choose
Logical Devices
The Logical Devices page shows a list of configured logical devices on the chassis. If no logical
devices have been configured, a message stating so is shown instead.
2) Click
Delete
for the logical device that you want to delete.
3) Click
Yes
to confirm that you want to delete the logical device.
4) Click
Yes
to confirm that you want to delete the application configuration.
