e. Remove the two screws that hold the bracket on to the
controller.
f.
Lift the bracket from the controller and store the bracket in
a safe place for possible reuse.
g. Align the low-profile bracket so that the tabs are on the
backside of the controller and the holes on the tabs align
with the holes on the controller.
h. From the front side of the controller, attach the bracket to
the controller, using the two screws that you removed in
step
b.
Step 5.
Mount the Transportable Memory Module on the Controller
Perform the following steps to mount the transportable memory
module on the controller, as shown in the following figure:
a. Hold the transportable memory module so that the small
cable connector is on the top and the board-to-board
connector is on the bottom.
b. Align the board-to-board connector on the transportable
memory module with the J5B1 (DDR3) connector on the
controller, as shown in the following illustration. Align the
three pins on the retention bracket with the holes in the
transportable memory module.
c. Carefully press the transportable memory module on to the
controller, so that the two connectors are firmly joined and
the two retention bracket tabs snap into place.
