1. Pivot the microprocessor retainer downward to close the retainer.

3. Position the microprocessor socket cover on the microprocessor socket as shown. Then, lower the
socket cover straight down into the microprocessor socket on the system board.

2 , and then push the handle inward to secure it. Then gently press
1 and push the handle inward to lock the microprocessor retainer into position.
