Traveling Downhill

Whenever descending a hill, always:
1. Drive directly downhill.
2. Transfer your weight to the rear of the vehicle.
3. Slow down.
4. Apply the brakes slightly to aid in slowing.
Familiarize yourself with the auxiliary rear brake pedal and its use in the event loss
of normal service brakes occurs.
WARNING
Loss of vehicle control due to excessive speed can occur. Loss of control
may result in serious injury or death.
