Overview of the LNL-1340-M2K
The LNL-1340-M2K board is a Reader Interface Module that provides four (4) reader interface ports. The
LNL-1340-M2K accepts data from readers with F/2F and supervised F/2F signaling and door hardware. The
LNL-1340-M2K provides 10 inputs (unsupervised/supervised), eight (8) Form-C control relays, and a 12
VDC power supply to power readers and other devices.
The LNL-3300-M5 Intelligent System Controller board can be mounted directly on the LNL-1340-M2K
board. The LNL-1340-M2K can only be installed in an M2000 enclosure. If the LNL-3300-M5 board is
mounted on the LNL-1340-M2K board, it is powered by the LNL-1340-M2K board's internal power supply.
Power for the LNL-1340-M2K board is supplied from an 18 VAC transformer. The LNL-1340-M2K
supports the charging of an optional 12 Volt, 7 Ah rechargeable sealed lead-acid battery for UPS operation.
