This package should contain:
• 1 x combination IEEE-1394b and USB 2.0 external drive case for 3.5" drives
• 1 x 12V DC (1500mA) power adapter
• 1 x USB cable
• 1 x IEEE-1394b cable

Installation

This section will guide you through the installation of your external storage enclosure.
Please read through the instructions carefully and complete each step in the order listed.
Note: Your hard drive should be set to Master mode. Check with your hard drive
manufacturer for details.
1. Turn your hard drive case upside down and remove the cover.
2. Gently insert your hard drive into the case.
3. Connect the grey IDE flat cable your hard drive's IDE pins. Pin 1 on the drive cable is
marked by the red wire.
4. Connect the power cable to your hard drive's power connector. The connector is
formed so that it is difficult to connect the cable improperly.
5. Screw the hard drive to the case using the holes on the side.
6. Snap the bottom of the hard drive case back into place. To secure your hard drive,
you can use the screws on the bottom of the drive case to join the top and bottom
halves of the drive case.
7. Plug the power adapter into the DC12V power port on the back of the drive case.
Plug the other end into an available power source.
8. Plug your drive case into your computer using either the FireWire 800 or USB 2.0
port.
9. Turn the drive case on using the On/Off switch on the back of the drive case. You can
now access the drive from your computer.
