The Surround Setup menu
Use the
(cursor left/right) hard keys to adjust the
setting. The X-Curve is expressed as a downwards slope
in decibels per octave, starting at 2kHz. The sound
becomes less bright as the slope increases (to a
maximum of -3.0dB/oct). Use the following guidelines to
set the X-Curve according to your room size:

Select 'Return' then press ENTER to finish.
Note
• Since the principal is the same, X-Curve isn't applied
when you're using any of the Home THX modes (see
Using the Home THX modes on page 43).

Checking your surround settings

You can check through the receiver settings screen by
screen after you're finished using the Surround Setup.

Select 'Check' from the Surround Setup menu
and press ENTER.

Use the
(cursor left/right) hard keys to
cycle through the settings screen by screen.
These appear in the same order as the Surround Setup
menu. Select Return then press ENTER to go back to the
Surround Setup menu.
