5.0.2 Advanced tone control matrix display

It is the task of the matrix display to show the frequency area affected by the tone control that is
currently being altered. In this manner you may visibly estimate the acoustical impact of the cur-
rent setting. While the upper row stands for boost in the designated frequency regions, the lower
row symbolizes a cut. The entire frequency range is divided into three regions representing the
low, mid and high frequency band. The brightness of each LED corresponds to the boost or cut
gain.
Example
To exemplify the functioning of the LED matrix display the illustration 4.11 shows how the tone
controls position is in conjunction with the actual frequency response and the displayed LED
brightness.
