My Bose is 4 years old and recently won’t hold a charge for more that 3 hours

Your Bose SoundLink Color II may not hold a charge for more than 3 hours due to a degraded or faulty battery. The expected battery life is around 8 hours, but over time, lithium-ion batteries lose their capacity. Additionally, if the speaker frequently shuts off or indicates low battery even after charging, it may not be charging properly. This could be due to a faulty charging cable, adapter, or charging port. Try using a different charger and cable, and if the issue persists, the battery may need replacement.
