AUTOFOCUS There are certain conditions where the autofocus may not work properly even when the Green lamp blinks when the Shutter release button is pressed halfway. When this happens, try the procedure below. 1 Subjects with low contrast Lock the focus on an object that is at the same distance from the camera as the subject, then aim at the subject to take the picture.

SPOT METERING MODE The Spot metering mode is used to obtain the right exposure regardless of the backlight. Place the subject in the center of the autofocus marks. Open the lens barrier and press the Menu button several times to display the screen shown.
