Tag and carefully disconnect the wire
connectors from the circuit board.

Carefully disconnect the LCD circuit board
ribbon cable from the ECM circuit board.

Carefully disconnect the two ribbon cables
from the membrane decal at the ECM circuit
board.
10 Remove the circuit board mounting fasteners.
11 Carefully remove the circuit board from the
control box.

Membrane Decal

The membrane decal is a special decal that
consists of a decal with an electronic membrane on
the backside. The membrane contains touch
sensitive areas that, when pushed, activate the
machine functions. The membrane contains touch

How to Replace the Membrane
Decal
1
Turn the key switch to the off position and
push in the red Emergency Stop button to the
off position at both the ground and platform
controls.

Remove the ground control box lid fasteners.

Open the ground control box.

Carefully disconnect the two ribbon cables
from the membrane decal at the ECM circuit
board.

Carefully remove the membrane decal from
the control box lid while guiding the ribbon
cables out of the control box lid.

Remove any decal adhesive from the control
box lid with a mild solvent.
Note: Do not allow any solvent to come in contact
with the LCD display screen.

Install the new membrane decal while guiding
the ribbon cables through the control box lid.

Connect the ribbon cables to the ECM circuit
board.

Close the control box lid and install the
retaining fasteners.
