    PC is initially booted. If you have switched off your LINDY CPU Switch Junior or you are attempting to ‘hot plug’ it into a system that is already running, you may be able to restore lost mouse movement using the LINDY CPU Switch Junior's mouse restoration functions.

    LINDY CPU Junior Switches, the cascade routing will need to be entered (see section 3.9 for more details). To specify port 5 on a LINDY CPU Junior Switch that is cascaded off port 3 you would enter port number 35. Units can be cascaded three levels deep.

    NOTE: Many modern monitors are fitted with automatic power save relays and will switch off after a few seconds if connected to an in-active PC. If you are using such a monitor you must not allow the LINDY CPU Switch Junior to auto-scan all ports. Constant switching on and off of your monitor’s relay will eventually damage your monitor.

    LINDY CPU Switch contains a programmable screen saver which will blank the display after the set time delay with no keyboard or mouse activity. Simply typing at the keyboard or moving the mouse will re-enable the display. The display will flash whilst the LINDY CPU Switch is in screen save mode.
