I am a rookie of the crane world. We have a Grove RT-740 crane with a Microguard 424 system in it. We cannot get the boom to come all the way down to traveling height. The buzzer comes on and boom stops.

The boom of a Grove RT-740 crane with a MicroGuard 424 system may not lower to traveling height and may trigger a buzzer if the system detects an overload or unsafe condition. The MicroGuard 424 continuously monitors crane functions using sensors and compares the actual load and boom configuration with stored capacity chart data. If the system senses that the boom angle, height, or load exceeds safe limits (such as exceeding MAX. HEIGHT or other set alarms), it can activate audible and visual warnings and may cause function kick-out to prevent further movement.

The MicroGuard 424 System is intended to aid the crane operator in efficient crane operation by continuously monitoring the load and warning of an approach to an overload or a two-block condition.
